Inovatec is looking for a strong IT Security Manager to develop and deliver a comprehensive information security and privacy program. As the IT Security Manager you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our current product line is evolving with the market needs while following the best security practices for design, architecture and development. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. As a member of the Inovatec team, a typical day will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing ways to improve processes and methodologies with specific focus on security
  • Collaborating with the IT Infrastructure, Development & Leadership teams
  • Documenting and implementing policies, standards and procedures required to be compliant with industry standard policies and best practices
  • Oversee the implementation of the policies, standards and procedures

Responsibilities:

  • Establish appropriate standards and controls, indirectly manage security technologies and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Lead the organization in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining business and technology processes to reduce information technology risks
  • Participate in key Operations and Technology operating forums to implement and drive information security risk strategy and business processes
  • Define a security based SDLC, that will exist within the existing product development framework
  • Identify, justify and procure security tools where required to ensure that in house developed code follows security best practices, and to provide tools and technologies to optimize and streamline the processes required to be compliant with current and future security polices

Qualifications; Key Skill Sets:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and leadership skills
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Additional experience in banking and finance industry would be desired
  • Strong subject matter experience in application security and vulnerability testing
  • Strong technical mindset to lead cross functional teams
  • Product development experience
  • Proven strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including excellent communication and writing skills
  • Self-starter, achievement-oriented, motivated and proven problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
