DANUBE ICT CLUSTERS' SUSTAINABLE COOPERATION FOR SMART AND INCLUSIVE GROWTH – REGIONAL SURVEY

Based on conclusions made during the strategic ICT Clusters' meeting organized within the project “Danube ICT Clusters' Sustainable Cooperation for Smart and Inclusive Growth – Danube ICT Project”, held on February 18 and 19, 2016, in Belgrade, a regional survey was conducted.

The questionnaires were conducted within the Danube ICT Project, and they provided regional ICT Clusters, business organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and cross-industry clusters with an opportunity to express their opinion on current business conditions and cross-border and cross-industry collaboration perspectives in the region.

As the final result of the detailed questionnaires, answered by almost every country of the region, it is established that there is a high level of recognition of international and cross-industry collaboration as a business opportunity.

The strategic action plan for cross-cluster cooperation has been developed. The document is based upon the results of the questionnaires. The plan includes two potential projects on which the project partners and regional partners will be focused on their future cooperation. The projects are mapping a detailed value system for smart agriculture in the Balkan region and entrepreneurial discovery for cross-cluster development of business models and smart technology–service solutions for precision agriculture.
